Please bring her home to me.....

  After Sunday's photo day I had left my sweet buttercup chair out in the orchards, it was dark & she wouldn't fit in my car and I was tired... (plus my hands were swollen, my legs were about to give, and I had only one  quick bathroom break alllll day) so I was ready to get home.  When my hubby returned this evening after work to retrieve the furniture I couldn't find buttercup anywhere!  I know it looked as if someone dumped the old chair, but I need her back in my life... so please please please, if you know someone who lives out Yukon Road, off of Orchard Lane...or even if they pass through there please let me know how heart broken I am.  Ask them to ask their brother, mother, sister & friends to keep an eye out for her... I need her for next Friday's shoot, but more importantly my heart skipped two beats when I happened upon her & it was love at first sight, I don't know if I can make it with out her.....

Thanks for your help, I know you guys can hunt her down for me... especially if you want a super sweet pic like this ;)

Such a fun, HAPPY session!

What a great couple of kids! At the age of 3 and (almost) 6 years old, these kiddos were a dream for any photographer. I loved our time in the field while capturing their sweetness! Thanks Brandy for sharing your lil ones with me... I had a blast :0) Even if we did wade through knee high grass, have a rock tossed at your head, while I fell in a hole as deep as they come, and don't forget that stick that attacked you, you know the one you thought was creepy crawler...heee heee! It was all well worth it, at least to me ~ just take a look at what we got ;)

Hey, its Rob here I am new to the blogging stuff.  Nichol is SUPPPPPPPPPPER busy and knew she had to get directions out so Im lending her a hand.  So here are your directions.  If you have any questions feel free to email her and she will get back to you when she can. 


From Atlanta:  Travel North on highway 575/515 to Ellijay.  At the second red light (at Burger King) turn right.  You will then come to a 4-way stop.  Stay straight onto Yukon Rd.  Travel 5.8 mi.  Turn Left after the fire station onto Orchard Ln.  Go 1mi, when you see the apple orchards we will be at the first orchard on your left.  Nichol plans to have balloons to direct you where to go.  Please Park by the LNE photography sign.

If you were looking to book the Fall Day shoot & weren't able to get a spot.....I'm opening up another half day, with me! This is just a heads up..the details & prepayment will open tonight around 10pm, so make sure to book fast ~ you all know how fast the spots fill ;)

Love is in the air...

What fun Racheal and I have been having! Over the past few weeks we have photographed two beautiful weddings in Atlanta, the weddings were simply perfect! The brides, Bronwyn & Karina were a dream come true, as were the grooms! It is awesome when we come by a super sweet Bride that tells us to "do what we do best" but it is really rare to have an equally cool Groom. These girls had em' Tim & Mac were completely open for all images we requested, they never once complained & made our job so much easier. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all, thanks for the fun memories we made. It is weddings like these that give me a breath of fresh air & remind me why I do what I do... I know these couples will be together when they are old & grey, you could see it written all over them. I know they will cherish their images for years & years to come! I also know that I'll be the one capturing their 50th anniversary, and that is why I do what I do. I love capturing the memories & feeling of the day, and also love establishing a relationship with each client. I feel as if you are all my buddies & wanted to say thanks for the fun times we've all had :)

I WON!

After spending the last 6+years in neutral tones....I have WON! I get a girly girl master bed & bath! Although Rob wouldn't allow pink on the walls, he is allowing a flowered shabby chic print...I'm beyond excited! I lugged all the bedding & bath decor in today....complete with glass curtain holders :) hee heee....just had to show it off to someone who understands ~ so this post is to all you girly girls!

and for all you crafty men...I need someone to help me make a table like this one! I will add the finish to it, just need someone to make it ;)  And I gotta have the bench as shown in the second image...not too much to ask, if you know how to do it...and I DON'T!

My super sweet family

It's that time of year again...time for fall photos in preparation for Christmas Cards! This year I kept last year in mind, and told the Engle Crew to dress comfy & pretend we were out having fun! I knew that if I forced everyone into stiff clothing & made them sit perfectly still we wouldn't get even one image out of the session. After setting the tripod up, we threw ourselves in front of the camera & goofed off. I did want one posed photo with a dramatic feel to it, but didn't get the support of the children...so I'll settle for these ;)

I am so thankful for images like these, images that capture us at our truest moments. There is nothing better than soaking up some sweet sunshine with the people you love...  This day will be tucked away in the corner of my heart where all those perfect days are stored. Thanks for taking a look at the latest with the Engle Family. For all of you who are scheduled for the fall day...I'll be sending directions out by this weekend.
