Is your love cup full?

It's a sweet lil saying that I learned from a friend of mine... She used it with her son & now I ask my children all the time if they need their love cup filled up.. then I shower them with extra kisses & hugs until their little hearts are filled full of love!  So here is a simply way to fill your love cup!  Help another in need, and the gift is really yours ~ the feeling that comes from helping others is the best gift a person can give themselves.  So the next time you are out & about stop by Ronnie Thompson's Ford Place & help this super sweet lady!

Mrs. Joy Martin if you are reading this... I love you & miss hearing your chipper little voice!  Recover quickly, all our prayers & love go out for you!

working on a lil' something for you gals.....

I will open the date for booking soon.... but need a bit more time to iron all the wrinkles out.  I still lack the most important details, like LOCATION/ATTIRE/SESSION FEE ~ which is pretty much everything!!!! (but I do have the idea in my head & many wonderful makeup artist/hair dressers standing behind me)  So, here it is WE ARE HOSTING A PIN-UP/BOUDOIR PHOTO DAY FOR ALL THE LADIES!  This would be a wonderful Valentine's Gift for the guys or a perfect gift to yourself!  So keep this blog on your favorites list & keep an eye out for the 'Now Booking' post.  Just like the photo days in the past...once this date is booked, it's booked!  I will try to have plenty of spots available for all of you.  And for those of you who are already emailing and going crazy about the day....I love when you guys get excited, thanks for helping build my excitement even more!!!  We'll have lots of fun with this year's V*Day Photos...

Here is a lil' sneak peek at the sample pics that I will post when the day opens ~ but it's just a headshot.....gotta leave you guys hanging when it comes to the full body shots ~ builds the excitement!    Have a HAPPY TUESDAY!

It's the day I always look forward to...my super sweet biRthDAy!!!

This is the day that I truly feel like a princess!  It is the day my hubby & kiddos treat me to anything I want, all day long!  What do I love most about my Birthday!??!? I love that my kiddos make a trip to Walmart & are able to pick out anything they want to get me....can be anything!  Last year Tate got me a large plastic Garlic holder ;)  The year before he picked out a jewelry set that was suited for a 3 year old girl...it still hangs from my rear view mirror & I smile every time I look at it!  I can't wait to see what the little turkeys picked out for me this year.  Lyla is like her Momma and likes to tell the surprises, due to over excitement....she said something about a little doggie necklace, so if you all see me sporting a doggie necklace to the school Christmas Program you'll know where it came from :)

Thanks for all the facebook & Myspace Birthday wishes, you guys are super sweet & I love every one of ya!

2010

Grab your date quickly ~ The 2010 calendar will be very limited spots, I have already filled most open dates but these are the ones currently open for appointments.  Keep in mind, these are one on one appointments with Nichol Engle.... one hour of coverage or double sessions booking only!

The "Photo Days" will be posted several weeks before the event date.  I plan to have a "Pin-Up Valentines Day"  Which will be perfect for hubby's gifts ~ and also a great gift to yourself...we will have full makeup, clothing & hair included in this Photo Day!  I plan to have size 0 - 12 women, (xs-xl corsets)  I will post details later for booking this day!

I also plan to host a children's spring Day, but details are not worked out yet...same goes for the Sweet Days of Summer shoot, and the Funky Fall Day!  Just know that these days will also be available, and will be $ friendly.

I have come to find that Photo Days work well...it is a great way to capture your family memories, while saving cost & time.  The hubbies don't always LOVE full photo sessions, so it is a great way to get them photographed while not having them upset with me ;)  So there is the truth that we all know....MEN hate having their pictures made, yet they all say how fun & quick & painless the photo days are!  I've actually had several Dads/husband/boyfriends ask when the next one is... that way they aren't out for a full hour, and can get on with their hunting, fishing, watching tv & mowing the grass ~ because we all know that is just soooo much better!  hee hee.    Plus, the kiddos (especially young ones) aren't tired out...I get the best of them and then they are done & ready for their ice cream or candy that they were bribed with :)
So that is why I will focus my 2010 calendar on Photo Days ~ and they will not just be photo days...they will be KNOCK OUT, ROCK THE HOUSE, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ~ PHOTO DAYS!  With less one on one sessions, I will be able to hunt for cool props & book awesome locations ~ all while saving you money!  Don't you just love it!?!??

I know, I know.....

I promised that I'd post the open dates tonight... but my Best Bud & I went to Walmart & just couldn't find the door ~ so we spent wayyyy too long goofing off & now I'm tuckered out!  It's all Jen's fault, so go ahead & send all your hate mail her way ;)  No, really I will get them up in the morning ~

I do have something else that I've promise... a behind the scenes look at the magazine publication.  This is the shot ~ I know all of you kinda gathered that I do a few off the wall things from time to time...but I promise this was simply an answered prayer.  I was not planning on taking photos of the beauty products on my hubby's truck, but found myself looking for natural lighting ~ so after moving all the gear from the studio down to the basement, I was frustrated!  I couldn't get the material backdrop to work!  I removed the items from the backdrop & rested them on his truck while I rearranged the backdrops....as I went back for the products I saw it ~ the smooth white, with the trees in the background!!! And there you have it... the one they choose!  The theme was GREEN, so the natural wooded background worked wonders & I love the story, who would've known it was taken on the hood of a Chevy!??!  Only me.....

And here is the other product page... I will post the remaining pages soon ~ gotta get some rest, big day tomorrow...two sessions, sick little Lyla & Hubby and a big bunch of editing :)  Have a great night & thanks for following my blog.

You've been counted
