Anything Goes Photo Day ~ #3 Booked SOLID

Okay, guys.. my inbox has been overflowing with request for more spots!  While I can't put you in on May 8th's date... I have opened up some dates for another photo day!

$115.00 includes 30 minute session & Disc of edited images as shown in your online ablum.  (normally between 25-60 images)  April 26 & 27th between the hours of 5:00 -7:00pm  All my weekends are booked, so we are going to try something new and have a few photo days during the week!  The lighting is perfect during these hours for this location.. it's the only hours we can shoot here, so that the sun setting in the background which makes the image pure magic!  Just take at look at this place!  LOVELY or WHAT?!?!  We will have a some cute furniture with us for this photo day, so go ahead & get excited~ it'll be a great one!

Anything Goes Photo Day is exactly as it's titled.  Anything Goes = we'll photograph your babies, your mother, your & your lover, your dog, your cat, your significant other. You name it we'll do it!  Each session will be for 30 minutes.  $100.00 includes your session & disc of images.  Disc of images will contain all images as shown in online album.  (Edited, free of watermark, ready for printing)  This photo day will be located in Ellijay.  Directions will be emailed.    

Once spots are filled that's it!  We'll email the booked clients with directions and details closer to date.  Please give me a 'roundabout time you'd like you appointment, I'll get you in as close to your request as possible.  Please remember nap times for little ones & try to plan around those times.  For more info on past "Anything Goes" photo days please CLICK HERE. How do you book?  Pay below.  Should the day fill, I will book in order as payment was received.  If you should pay but not get a spot, your payment will be refunded in full in the same form you paid.  Making payment does not insure your appointment ~ remember these go fast!

Why the changes?!?!

So, here's the deal.... I have pondered and pondered on how to make my work flow better.  How to serve you all to the fullest yet still have family come first.   In the past photography was a hobby, something I enjoyed doing & just so happened to make some green while doing it.  Session fees, editing cost, etc. were not really important as it was simply something I enjoyed doing & enjoyed having extra spending money when I could.  I'm not ashamed to say that things are different now.  Due to the economy I am no longer able to cut you guys so much slack, as my family relies on my income now.  I have worked well with you all on discounting rates when needed or waiving certain fees or due dates to fit your budget.  I've been trying to host photo days to serve all budgets & make payment plans an option for you all. 
 I have found over the last few months that print orders and disc purchases on private sessions are a bit hard for you all to swing.  Therefor the photo days were made into "anything goes" days.  Meaning I'll photograph anything on that day.. engagement, baby, couples, kiddos, etc. for a lesser charge, since I am not purchasing large photo props for the day.  While, I have a booked schedule with private sessions I have noticed a few cancellations but not with enough time to reschedule them.  Therefor the Prepayment notice comes in.  For those of you who are booked in the first three weeks of April,  the prepayment for editing time will not be required, you will still have 30 days to order your images or disc.  The session fee however will be required in advance to hold your appointment.  I will send out invoices tonight.  Details will be listed in your invoice as to when the payment is due by.  


While I hate to crack down on fees, due dates, etc.  I have spent many nights lately editing until 3am, to get the work load finished & have yet to process your order. All expired albums online will have until April 18, 2010 to order.  After this date images will no longer be available for purchase.  


I hope you all understand the reason for change.  If you should want to move your private appointment over to a photo day appointment for the discounted photo day rate, please email me.  Unless photo props are to be purchased the photo days are $100.00 for the session and disc!  Great savings!

**Update** All session fees are due 14 days in advance to hold your appointment. Invoice will be emailed to you upon appointment request. $200.00 prepayment is due at time of session for photo print order or disc purchase. This amount will be deducted from your online print order or from disc.  Editing will not be done without this prepayment.


We offer on location sessions only.  The studio is no longer available.

Sunday sessions:  Add $50.00 to session, as sunday is my only day to be with my family, I require additional payment to reserve an appointment for you for this day.

ON LOCATION SESSION FEE $75.00

INCLUDES A SESSION FOR ONE HOUR OF PHOTOGRAPHY, BY NICHOL ENGLE. SESSION FEE IS FOR THE TIME AND TALENT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY PRINTS. THE SESSION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. THE CLIENT WILL BE SHOWN AT LEAST 30-60 IMAGES. ORDERING CAN BE DONE ONLINE, WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ALBUM COMPLETION. EACH ALBUM WILL BE GIVEN A DATE TO COMPLETE ORDERS BY, THE DATE WILL BE ADDED ONCE IMAGES ARE COMPLETE. THE SESSION CAN BE SHOT ON LOCATION ONLY. NEWBORN SESSION (0-6 WEEKS ONLY) $125.00
IN HOME SESSION: PHOTOGRAPHER WILL COME TO YOUR HOME TO PHOTOGRAPH INFANT.  IF OUTSIDE OF COVERAGE AREA (ELLIJAY, JASPER, BLUE RIDGE) PLEASE ADD $10 PER 20 MILES) 

THE SESSION IS NOT BASED ON TIME, AS WE WILL BE WORKING ON THE BABY’S TIME. NORMALLY 1-3 HOURS. THE SESSION FEE INCLUDES THE TIME AND TALENT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER, AND ONE (1) DIGITAL IMAGE FOR CLIENT TO USE FOR THEIR BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS. THE SESSION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. SENIOR SESSION $150.00

THIS SESSION INCLUDES 2 HOURS of photography ON LOCATION,  UP TO Four CLOTHING CHANGES, INCLUDED. THE SESSION FEE WILL ALSO INCLUDE EXTRA EDITING, OF WORDS TO PHOTOS. (EXAMPLE: SENIOR 10’) THE SESSION FEE INCLUDES THE TIME AND TALENT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND (3) OF THE BEST DIGITAL IMAGES VIA EMAIL, (COPYRIGHT PROTECTED with watermark) FOR TEEN’S SITE ONLINE. (EXAMPLE: MYSPACE, FACEBOOK, BLOGGER, ETC.) THE CLIENT WILL BE SHOWN AT LEAST 35-90 IMAGES ONLINE. LOCATIONS INCLUDE: JASPER, ELLIJAY, AND BLUE RIDGE. PLEASE CONTACT NICHOL IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF COVERAGE AREA. TRAVEL IS $10 PER 20 MILES.

PRINT ORDERS ONLINE

ONCE YOUR SESSION IS COMPLETE, THE PHOTOS WILL BE EDITED AND UPLOADED TO THE ZENFOLIO SITE, YOU WILL HAVE 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ALBUM COMPLETION TO PLACE YOUR ORDER. ONLINE VIEWING WILL REMAIN, BUT ORDERS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AFTER THIS DATE.  All images will be deleted after the time period.  Please make sure to place orders before the deadline date of 30 days.

DIGITAL NEGATIVES ~ DISC $275.00

THE DISC OF DIGITAL NEGATIVES WILL CONTAIN ALL THE IMAGES SHOWN IN YOUR ONLINE ALBUM, FULLY EDITED AND FREE OF WATERMARK. THE IMAGES WILL BE FULL RESOLUTION FILES AND READY FOR PRINTING. WHEN PURCHASING THE DISC, YOU ARE ALSO PURCHASING THE RIGHT TO PRINT, COPY, ENLARGE, EMAIL, SHARE IMAGES. YOU WILL NOT OWN THE IMAGES. THE IMAGES REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF NICHOL ENGLE PHOTOGRAPHY, AND CAN BE USED IN PROMOTIONAL, OR ADVERTISING AS SEEN FIT BY NICHOL ENGLE. IN THE EVENT THAT YOU PURCHASE THE DISC, AND YOU DECIDE TO ADD THE IMAGES TO AN ONLINE SITE I DO REQUIRE PHOTO CREDIT TO BE GIVEN TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER. EDITING INFO FOR ALL SESSIONS

EACH IMAGE WILL BE LOOKED AT INDIVIDUALLY AND EDITED AS SEEN FIT. ONCE IMAGES ARE EDITED BY PHOTOGRAPHER THE CLIENT MAY CHOOSE CHANGES OR EXTENSIVE EDITS FOR UP TO 3 DAYS AFTER ALBUM COMPLETION. AFTER THIS DATE THE ORIGINAL FILE WILL BE DELETED AND CHANGES SUCH AS COLOR WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. ALL CHANGES TO EDITING WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE, SEE BELOW FOR PRICES. Travel in Time photo day~ WOW!

What a great photo day this was.  And I'm gonna say it again "I wish I had brought my kiddos out to this one!"  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the turn out of this day.  I love seeing an idea develop before my eyes!  I have to say a HUGE thank you to Kristen Thompson for all her hard work that hot day.  Without her the photos wouldn't be what they are ~ she's my light, and what is a photo image made of ~ LIGHT.  Another thank you to Vicki Thompson, for all your ideas & props!  Thanks to Neal Smith for his AWESOME car, which really topped the whole thing off.  Thanks to the Towery Family for the great location & trust they put in me to use it.  Thanks to Kristie Roland, for helping all the little stinkers get dressed.  Thanks to 3 little Birds Boutique for the custom clothing designs ~ you are wonderful!  And thanks to YOU~ for coming out & giving me something to photograph.
 So, as you see photo days take a lot of planning & help from everyone.  I had spoke of planning another photo day at the end of this month, but will not be able to fully plan it out just yet.   (May 8th, is a possibility..but also Mother's Day weekend...so let me ponder on it for a few more days & yes, this is your heads up for booking! hee hee)
I've been working hard to get all the editing completed, but aging these photos is very time consuming.  I'm about 90% complete, and am spending all these pretty days inside on my computer.. so rest assured I will finish them up pronto ;)  I'm thankful to have such patient clients, who understand that it all takes time & that I will complete the images to their fullest.  And here it is, in black & white ~ so hold me to it!  "I WILL FINISH THE IMAGES THIS WEEK."  now, you all have my word.. and it's as good as gold.  So plan to pick up the discs, if you did pre-pay, this weekend.  If you did not, you may order prints via the website or contact me for calculation of you disc price, which will be determined by the number of images we collected.
